Okeechobee Festival 2017 (Recap)

A weekend of dancing under the warm sun into a perfect night was the vibe which marks the second installment of Okeechobee Festival.

A stacked lineup on five stages presented by Soundslinger. The event took place at the Sunshine Grove in Okeechobee, Florida with over 40,000 people in attendance. The Genres stemmed from a variety of Rock music, Independent music, Hip hop & Electronic dance. Something for everyone must have been the motto of the creators of this wondrous gathering.

Smiles were abundant throughout the audience. There is something magical about people coming together for good food, great music and the feeling of nostalgia music can take you to. Enjoy some images of grinning faces, dazzling outfits and a look at the vendors section.

It is amazing to watch people sing along to every word. The energy being thrown around the crowd is an experience within itself. Festival grounds were filled with exuberant fans. You find yourself bouncing from one stage to another grasping the vibes of the artist, the people and the ambiance of your surroundings. Below find some more highlighted performances.

Words and photos don’t really do the performances justice. There are rises, breakdowns and drops. One is taken on a journey that goes out and brings the music all in. People come from all realms of the world and gather to make memories and friends that will last a lifetime. I am happy to share with you and be a part of this euphoric event. The purpose of this photo recap was not just to provide photo journalism, but rather as best we could share with our audience our creative or at least expressive love for the art in festivals.
